We have been living in the RV full time since purchasing it new in 1995. The only thing I have done to these batteries is adding water 2 times in 12.5 years. I have the original Thermoil Batteries, that check out good. I have a 1996 Teton 5th wheel RV, that I took possession on from the Teton factory in Casper Wy. After speaking with you I feel very confident with the product and will definitely add your oil to my replacement batteries when the need arises. I felt due to the age of the batteries and not really knowing anything about Thermoil (which was labeled on the batteries) I should try to contact the company to find out where and how to replace the batteries with like kind since I have been very satisfied. However, it got me to thinking how old the batteries are and wondered about replacement, feeling they may fail at any time. A week ago it seemed I had to add a little more than usual - I now feel it was because of the extra warm weather. I check the batteries on a regular basis and only had to add a VERY small amount of water at any time.
